This lake is so wonderful. Buck Hill is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and don't miss out on a spree to Mississippi National River & Recreation Area if you're here. During the months of summer at Long Meadow Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 20's; through the                  dark hours in the wintertime at Long Meadow Lake temperatures sink to the 0's.
