Lakes are magnificent; Butler Lake is a lake that's right next door to Long Lake. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Long Lake; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. After a long day outdoors Americinn Annandale is a fine place to spend a night or two, and a round of golf at nearby Shadowbrooke Golf Course is a good way       to kill some time. High temperatures at Long Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's while Long Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's. Long Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Howard Lake Inn is a glorious local campground, and a good close by hotel is Super 8 Glencoe. This lake is so wonderful.                  Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Lake Ann, and if you're popping by from Hutchinson, you won't be the only one.
