Camping is available at Waldheim Resort, and Travelodge Hinckley is a perfect place to get some rest. Long Lake is a good location of typical precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. Take a hike on the East White Pine Truck Trail, and after a long day outdoors Hinckley-Days Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. This       lake is so wonderful. The Giese Truck Trail offers hiking at its best, and camping at Garnet Acres Guest Ranch is always a perfect experience. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Long Lake is great!. Summertime highs at Long Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Long Lake temperatures descend                  to the-10's.
