Throughout the warm days of summer at Long Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's; the night is a tad colder of course, mostly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows throughout the winter for Long Lake tend to be in the 0's. Sixmile Creek is near Long Lake and is always a joy to explore, and       after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn Waconia is a glorious place to spend a night or two. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Long Lake. Stay the night at Jordan Koa Kampground, and Will's Riverview RV Park is a tremendous campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Taking a little tour to nearby Kings Point is a splendid idea; if you need a location to stay AmericInn Waconia is a nice choice. Long Lake is a good site of normal                  rain; during June this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
