This lake is so wonderful. Budget Host Inn-Stes N. Branch is a pleasant place to get some rest. Trollhaugen is a very popular ski area close at hand. There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Blue waters Leisure Park is a good spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Vibo Lake, and there's good hiking along the       Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail. The amount of rain that falls at Long Lake is close to the national average; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Not far from Long Lake, you'll find Sunrise Lake which is a wonderful lake, and Wild Mountain has nice slopes and a friendly staff. There's whitewater on Snake River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and you can stay the night at Hillcrest RV Park.                  There are some magnificent whitewater spots on St. Croix River, and Sunrise River Dam is a picturesque spot, positively worth visiting. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Long Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 10's; night lows throughout the wintertime for Long Lake tend to be in the-10's. Long Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise.
