There's a good forest near Long Lake called Buena Vista State Forest, and do check out Roadside Lake, it's a wonderful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Greenwood Golf Course. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff close to Long Lake will keep you coming back again and again. There's       so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gull Lake Campground and Mobile is a splendid place for that, and Long Lake is right by the Webster Lake Trail System. High temperatures at Long Lake during the summertime are in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 10's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Long Lake. You'll meet a lot of people from Bemidji                  here, and if you came to camp Moens Birch Haven Campground is a glorious spot to do that. Not much rainfall falls here at Long Lake; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
