There's so much to do here at Locke Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Riverwood Campland is a glorious site for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sauk River, and while you're here, you could also visit beautiful Twin Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn & Suites. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Locke Lake has       to offer, you can camp at Travelers Country Club 2. At Locke Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's; overnight lows in the-10's for Locke Lake. An average amount of rain falls at Locke Lake; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
