This lake is so wonderful. Really delightful skiing awaits you at Hyland Ski; if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Brooklyn Center is a good choice. Throughout the warm months highs here at Locke Lake reach the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter       are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Locke Lake. Locke Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is January. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Centerbrook Golf Course, and if you haven’t been to Mississippi National River & Recreation Area, you should schedule some time for it while you're                  here. Very tremendous water scenery is available at Locke Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Locke Lake, and Rice Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. J Robinson Intensive Camps is a brilliant local campground, and Locke Lake is a perfect lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Buck Hill has good slopes and a friendly staff.
