The beauty of Little Sandy Lake attracts many people from all around. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Vermilion River; hiking along the Taconite Trail is nice fun. Little Sandy Lake is pretty dried out regularly; the wettest month of the year is mostly June, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. Stay the night at Eveleth Veteran's Park; dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Virginia.

You're in all probability keen on lakes, Admiral Lake is one of those nearby, and after a long day outdoors Americinn - Mt Iron, Mn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. This lake is located in the wonderful Mesabi Range. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are really plentiful here at Little Sandy Lake. The skiing at Giants Ridge is delightful.

Midway Motel is a great campground here, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Fork River. Throughout the summer months at Little Sandy Lake highs are regularly in the 70's; the overnight is a little chillier of course, frequently
in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Little Sandy Lake.
