     If you need a site to stay Trappers Landing Lodge is a tremendous choice, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Cutfoot Sioux National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You could also visit Stone Axe Lake since you're here at Little Sand Lake; it's close by, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Simpson Creek Trail System. Little Sand Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most  
   of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Nearby lakes? Sure, Rice Lake is right next door to Little Sand Lake. There's so much to do here at Little Sand Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Noma Lake Campground and Picnic Area is a splendid site for that.
Little Sand Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, O-NE-Gum-Me Campground is a wonderful local campground; going for a hike along the Turtle Mound Trail will let you
 
               absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Summertime at Little Sand Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Little Sand Lake are in the-10's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Little Sand Lake.
