All the outdoors exciting stuff close to Little North Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cascade River, and if you get bored of Little North Lake you could also stop at nearby Little Rush Lake. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Stairway Portage; Cascade River is a nice whitewater spot nearby. Do       schedule some time to stop by Frances Bay next to Little North Lake if you have a chance, and a magnificent location to camp here at Little North Lake is Gateway-hungry Jack Lodge. Hiking along the South Lake Portage is delightful fun; the snow is pleasant at Lutsen. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Height of Land Portage, and why not camp at Gunflint Pines if you're here at Little North Lake. Little North Lake gets a common amount of annual                  precipitation; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. High temperatures at Little North Lake through the summer months are in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's.
