Little Lost Lake is a good place of typical precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Vermilion River, and Pfeifer Lake Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. There's great hiking along the Canfield Portage. For the duration of the summertime months highs       here at Little Lost Lake reach the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Little Lost Lake. Don't leave Little Lost Lake without first going for a hike along the Taconite Trail; you'll meet a lot of folks from Duluth here. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Little Lost Lake.
