This lake is so wonderful. Take a side journey to Heritage Creek, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Beatty Portage. The yearly rainfall here at Little Loon Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month is February. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Little Loon Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in       the 10's while Little Loon Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-20's. A good location to camp here at Little Loon Lake is Lake Jeanette Campground; on a great day you can take a hike along the Echo Trail. This site is so good, just explore all the fun things to do near Little Loon Lake. After a long day outdoors Elbow Lake Lodge is a delightful place to spend a night or two. East Loon Bay is around here and always good to go                  to, and camping at Sioux River Campground is always a magnificent experience.
