There's so much to do here at Little Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Canoe Country Outfitters is a fine place for that. All through the days of summer at Little Long Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Little Long Lake       are in the-20's. This lake is so wonderful. There are delightful places to look at along the Crooked Lake Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Little Long Lake has to offer, you can camp at Gateway North Outfitters. That right there is a load already, but it continues; Little Long Lake has it all. Do schedule some time to stop at Boulder Bay near Little Long Lake if you have a chance, and enjoy a round of golf at Ely Golf Club. Go for a hike                  on the Stuart Portage; get dripping wet paddling on Stony River. This lake is so wonderful. You're possibly interested in lakes, Little Dry Lake is one of those close by, and Grand Ely Lodge Resort and Conference Center is a glorious site to get some rest. Little Long Lake gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; June is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is February.
