Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Colby Lake; the skiing at Giants Ridge is perfect. Camping at Mc Kinley Park Campground is always a splendid experience, and dry warm beds await you at Grand Ely Lodge Resort And Conf Ctr. Summertime at Little Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are       in the 40's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 10's while Little Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-20's. On a glorious day at Little Lake you can take a hike along the Canfield Portage, and after a long day outdoors Lodge At Giants Ridge is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. Take a side visit to Wyman Creek, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Seven Beaver Snowmobile Trail. Not enough hours                  in a day to enjoy this spot.
