There's tremendous hiking along the Herubin Truck Trail, and Little Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Waldheim Resort is a tremendous place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Kettle River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and the Giese Truck Trail offers hiking at its       best. A typical amount of rain falls here at Little Lake; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest. During the summer months here at Little Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's; the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, generally in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Little Lake are in the-10's.                  Man, is there plenty of exciting things to do right next door to Little Lake. You can run the rapids of Snake River next to Little Lake, and Days Inn Hinckley is a nice place to get some rest. Why not take a refreshing hike along the East White Pine Truck Trail. This is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes.
