This lake is so wonderful. A splendid spot for whitewater paddling near Little Lake is Kettle River, and perfect hiking is available along the Herubin Truck Trail. Little Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Waldheim Resort is a good local campground. During the days of summer highs here at Little Lake get into the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in       the 10's, and nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Little Lake tend to be in the-10's. Little Lake is a good site of common rain; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you need a spot to stay Hinckley-Days Inn is a great choice, and the East White Pine Truck Trail offers hiking at its best. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Little Lake.                  Dry warm beds await you at Travelodge Hinckley, and there's delightful hiking along the Giese Truck Trail. Camping at Grand Casino Hinckley RV Resort is always a great experience, and if you get bored of Little Lake you could also go to nearby Upper Pine Lake.
