After a long day outdoors Americinn - North Branch, Mn is a perfect spot to spend a night or two; if you're looking for a pleasant journey, Saint Croix National Scenic River is reasonably near. Good hiking is available along the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail, and pleasant skiing awaits you at Trollhaugen. At Little Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows       are mostly in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's while Little Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend St. Croix River, and a lake nearby is Linn Lake. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites St. Croix Valley, Wi is a pleasant location to get some rest, and right next door to Little Lake you find a golf course called Chisago Lakes Golf                  Course. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are really plentiful here at Little Lake. Little Lake is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Whispering Bay Resort is a pleasant place to camp nearby, and get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Apple River. Little Lake gets a common amount of rain; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
