Good hiking is available along the Wilson Lake Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids. There are great places to discover along the Holstrum Spur Trail, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Fork. Little Horseshoe Lake gets a typical amount of rain; most of the rain falls during June, and February is       the month with the least moisture. Little Horseshoe Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Stony Brook Campground is a great local campground; Little Bass Lake is a tremendous lake close by. High temperatures at Little Horseshoe Lake throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are mostly in the 10's with temperatures at Little Horseshoe Lake dipping down into the-20's                  throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Little Horseshoe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Thistledew Campground is a splendid site for that, and you can go for a hike on the Valley River Trail. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are really plentiful here at Little Horseshoe Lake. Lakes?
