Little Coon Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. There's so much to do here at Little Coon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ham Lake Campground is a good location for that, and of course,       this is a brilliant area for people who like lakes, Twin Lakes is a lake in the neighborhood. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Little Coon Lake. What would winter be without some skiing at Hyland Ski. Dry warm beds await you at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Lino Lakes, MN, and Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is one of the destinations that are delightful to pop by close by. At Little Coon Lake all through the days                  of summer highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 10's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Little Coon Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Little Coon Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Ham Lake Campground is a good local campground.
