This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit St. Louis River, and why not take a little visit to Bug Creek if you're here. This is a popular place for people from Duluth, and if you came for an overnight stay Ico Campground is a magnificent place to camp. During the summertime months here at Lily Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's; during summer nights       temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 10's, and nighttime lows at Lily Lake through the winter usually dip into the-10's. What a location this is for outdoors people. Eveleth Super 8 Motel is a good place to get some rest, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Cloquet River. From a rain point of view Lily Lake is a reasonably common spot; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month                  with the least moisture. There are other places here than Lily Lake, for example Bug Lake, and you can hit the slopes at Spirit Mountain nearby.
