     Schisler Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and there's whitewater on St. Louis River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Lily Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly June, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Lily Lake is not far at all from Duluth; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Spirit Mountain. Lodge At Giants Ridge is  
   a good spot to get some rest; do stop by Bug Creek while you're here at Lily Lake.
So much entertaining stuff to do here at Lily Lake, too nice to be true. Ico Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and while you're here, you could also visit scenic Bug Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Eveleth is a perfect choice, and get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Cloquet River. Lily Lake is a splendid place to
 
               visit for more than one day, Cloquet River Inn is a splendid place to camp nearby.
Summertime highs at Lily Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 10's, and night lows all through the winter for Lily Lake tend to be in the-10's.

The river is at least 100 miles long. I've paddled from Katherine Lake to the St. Louis River and there is plenty of river to paddle besides the section from US 53 to US 2. The top section, from Katherine Lake to Lake Co #2 is an especially wild ride, and I've only done it once, but the drop is incredible, sometimes like a logging flume....

We are always listed as a resort with cabin rentals. our 7 site seasonal campground that has not had an opening for several years, so it is never listed under campgrounds.
