This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful place to camp here at Lightning Lake is Tipsinah Mounds Park, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Fergus Falls. At Lightning Lake throughout the summertime highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Highs through the       wintertime are typically in the 10's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Lightning Lake sink into the-10's. It is very dried up here at Lightning Lake frequently; most of the rain falls during June; the driest month is February.
