Lempia Lakes is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Mc Kinley Park Campground is a wonderful location to camp nearby; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Vermilion River. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Not far from Lempia Lakes, you'll locate Duck Lake which is a picturesque lake, and the skiing at Giants Ridge is brilliant.       Why not take a refreshing hike along the Canfield Portage. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lempia Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Hoodoo Point Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Echo Trail is pleasant fun, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Hay Lake. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Mesabi Range. A magnificent close by hotel                  is Americinn - Mt Iron, Mn.
