Have a good hiking adventure along the Stuart Portage; a magnificent place to camp here at Legend Lake is Camp Du Nord. During the summer at Legend Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's, and the night is fairly colder of course, mostly in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs       are usually in the 10's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Legend Lake tend to be in the-20's. This lake is so wonderful. Legend Creek flows through this neighborhood, and why not camp at Sioux River Campground while you're here at Legend Lake. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Budget Host Motel Ely is a good site to get some rest, and lakes are such calm locations, why not stop by Nina Moose Lake. From a precipitation point of view Legend                  Lake is a quite normal site; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
