You'll need more than a day to discover everything Leech Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lakeview Resort, and Americinn - North Branch, Mn is a fine place to get some rest. Leech Lake is a good location of normal precipitation; June is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Snake River; you can stay the night at Rushmore

| | Campgrounds. Lakes are such serene spots, why not stop at Round Lake near Leech Lake, and a stunning lake like Pine Lake is a wonderful site to explore. Having a wonderful time at Leech Lake is uncomplicated. There is a magnificent hiking trail near Leech Lake called the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail, and a good close by hotel is Budget Host Inn-Stes N.
