After a long day outdoors Americinn - Walker, Mn is a nice place to spend a night or two, and there's splendid hiking along the Lake Erin Trail. Leech Lake gets very little precipitation; June is when       you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great globe it would be. Good hiking is available along the Hunter Walking Trail System, and do explore Gould Lake, it's a gorgeous lake. Not far from Leech Lake you hit upon Agency Bay. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Leech Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cossette's Cove Campground, and if you're                  here you can play some golf at Tianna Country Club. Summertime highs at Leech Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 10's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Leech Lake temperatures descend to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.
