Long Point Resort is a perfect campground nearby, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Krull Trail. Through the months of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Lake of the Woods, and the night is a little chillier of course, typically in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake of the Woods       temperatures descend to the-20's. It is very arid here at Lake of the Woods mostly; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
