For the duration of the summer months at Lake Placid highs are usually in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 10's while Lake Placid overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.       Why not have a look at Crow Wing River Dam since you're here, and Lake Placid is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Rock Lake Campground is a delightful local campground. Lake Placid Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and a lake close by is Pillager Lake.
