Through the long summer days highs here at Lake Marion reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Marion dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. A good spot to camp here at Lake Marion is Schreier's On Shetek Campground; dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Marshall, Mn. Lake Marion       is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Valhalla Camp Grounds is a delightful local campground, and Lake Marion is not far at all from Marshall. Lake Marion gets very little rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is December. Do check out Pagel-Madden Dam if you're here at Lake Marion. This lake is so wonderful.
