The beauty of Lake Cottonwood is reason enough to stop by. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Cottonwood with overnight lows in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows at Lake Cottonwood through the wintertime mostly descend into the 0's. During your tour to Lake Cottonwood you'll meet some people from New Ulm for sure; if you need a spot to stay New Ulm Super 8 Motel is a brilliant choice. Lake Cottonwood is a good location

This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant place to camp here at Lake Cottonwood is Watona Park Campground and Park; if you're a golfer then a good close by course is New Ulm Country Club. Camping is available at Cedar Grove Camp Ground, and Holiday Inn New Ulm, Mn is a splendid spot to get some rest.
