This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Kraemer Lake, for example Dullinger Lake, and Powder Ridge is a delightful local ski area. Sauk River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by; if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - St. Joseph/St. Cloud Area is a good choice. There are plenty of people from St. Cloud here at Kraemer Lake, and AmericInn Avon is a       great spot to get some rest. So many cool things to do at Kraemer Lake, so little time. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Kimball Golf Club is close at hand. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Kraemer Lake has to offer, you can camp at Royal Oaks. Kraemer Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. There's so much to do here                  at Kraemer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, El Rancho Manana Campground is a pleasant spot for that; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Mississippi River. Summertime highs at Kraemer Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
