Throughout the days of summer here at Kings Slough, high temperatures usually get into the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's while Kings Slough nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. Kings Slough is great enough to spend more than a day at, Cavens Landing Resort is a great local campground; lots of       people from Fairmont come here. An average amount of rain falls at Kings Slough; the month with most of the rain is July while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Fairmont,Mn, obviously you could also have a look at Okamanpeedan Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Fairmont is a good site to spend a night or two. There's                  so much to do here at Kings Slough that you need to camp here for a while, Dawson Lakeside Campgrounds is a good location for that.
