Why not stop by Kerfoot Lakes if you're passing through these parts. Cross River is a pretty stream that is worth going to, and Gunflint Pines is a great local campground. Kerfoot Lakes is not the only place nearby, Pogo Lake is a nearby lake, and going for a hike on the Gneiss Lake Portage is always a perfect adventure. The Pine Portage is a nice hiking trail near Kerfoot Lakes, as expected you could also check out Clove Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. All through the days of summer highs here at Kerfoot Lakes reach the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Kerfoot Lakes temperatures dip to the-10's. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Lutsen is a brilliant site to do that; a spree to Little Rock Falls will fill your spirit with magnificent feelings. Kerfoot Lakes is a good location of common rain; August is the month that gets the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
