Head up to Lutsen and strap some skis to your feet; Kerfoot Lakes is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Gunflint Pines is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Near Kerfoot Lakes you hit upon the Pine Portage which is a wonderful hiking trail; a delightful place to camp here at Kerfoot Lakes is Baker Lake Campground. Throughout the summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Kerfoot Lakes with overnight       lows in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 10's, and overnight lows at Kerfoot Lakes through the wintertime regularly drop into the-10's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Kerfoot Lakes. Kerfoot Lakes gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; most of the rain falls during August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Going for a hike on the Granite River Portage is always a good adventure, and                  Little Rock Falls is always fun to check out.
