All through the months of summer here at Kenney Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Kenney Lake are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Riverview Campground is a nice local campground; there are some delightful whitewater spots on St. Croix River. Why not take a refreshing hike       along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Lower Tamarack River. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Kenney Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Sioux Portage Campground is a great place to camp. Getting to Bangs Brook from Kenney Lake is simple, and Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a great location to get some rest. Kenney Lake is right by the Markville Snowmobile Trail, and if you need a location                  to stay Lodge at Crooked Lake is a great choice.
