There is a great hiking trail close to Kek Lake called the Kekekabic Trail. Go for a hike on the Powwoun Trail; Americinn - Tofte, Mn is a good spot to get some rest. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Kek Lake, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are usually in the 10's with temperatures at Kek Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter       nights.
