If you like lakes and you're in this part of Minnesota you can check out Karth Lake. The annual rainfall here at Karth Lake is about average; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is mostly the driest month. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Marsden Lake is right close by; there are other locations here than Karth Lake, for example Island Lake. This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors amusing stuff near Karth Lake will keep you coming back time and again. You'll meet a lot of people from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington here; a magnificent place to camp here at Karth Lake is Northernaire Motel. A round of golf at nearby KateHaven Golf Course is a pleasant way to kill some time, and the slopes of Hyland Ski are so inviting noone can resist. This lake is so wonderful.

parks are fine places to stop at, and Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is no exception; there's always Round Lake Dam to visit in the vicinity of Karth Lake. Everybody close by loves skiing at Buck Hill; Super 8 Motel
- Arden Hills/Mpls/St. Paul Area is a tremendous place to get some rest. At Karth Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Karth Lake.
