Camping is available at McDougal Lakes Campground, and if you need a place to stay Cove Point Lodge is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Grand Superior Lodge is a perfect spot to spend a night or two, and Beaver River - E.Br has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Throughout the long       summer days highs here at Kari Lake reach the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Kari Lake. Not far from Kari Lake, you'll hit upon Cloquet Lake which is a charming lake, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Beaver River - W.Br. Kari Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise.                  A wonderful place to camp here at Kari Lake is Rocky Shores Campground, and the North Shore Snowmobile Trail offers hiking at its best.
