You could also go to Mosford Lake while you're here at Jones Lake; it's nearby; Travelers Country Club 2 is a nice campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - Becker is a great spot to get some rest, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling       on Mississippi River. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Jones Lake. Jones Lake is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Riverwood Campland is a glorious place to camp nearby, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Sauk River. At Jones Lake through the summer months highs are in the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 10's, and night lows all                  through the wintertime for Jones Lake tend to be in the-10's.
