This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Americinn - Tofte, Mn is a good choice. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Baptism River, and golf can be played at Silver Bay Country Club. There's good hiking along the North Shore Snowmobile Trail, and do schedule some time to take a look at Belmore Bay if you have a chance. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn       Silver Bay, and why not go to close by Baptism River while you're here at Johnson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Illgen Falls, and Silver Bay Koa Kampground is a glorious campground nearby. While you're here at Johnson Lake, you could also visit gorgeous Leskinen Lake, and you can stay the night at Tetagouche Lake Campground. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Nipisiquit Lake is                  a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and don't leave Johnson Lake without first going for a hike along the Moosewalk Snowmobile Trail. Summertime highs at Johnson Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's; the night is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Johnson Lake fall into the-10's.
