     Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Mesabi Range. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Hibbing. Summertime highs at Johnson Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's while Johnson Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Mesabi Range. Whitewater paddling is great on Little Fork River; going for a hike along the  
   Stingy Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
The annual precipitation here at Johnson Lake is about average; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Johnson Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, C C Campground 717 is a good site to camp nearby, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Snake Trail. That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; Johnson Lake
 
               has it all. While you're here at Johnson Lake, you could also take a look at stunning Section Eleven Lake, and Stony Brook Campground is a pleasant local campground.
Hibbing Park Hotel is a magnificent place to get some rest, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Link Lake Trail. Johnson Lake is located in the Mesabi Range. This lake is so wonderful. Beatrice Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and paddling on Sturgeon River is so much fun.

We have hiking trails up through the woods and a playground for the little ones. The paved Central Lakes Trail goes right by us, so bring your bikes. Our paddleboats, kayaks and canoes are free to guests for on-the-water fun too. And for those quiet times we have benches placed around the resort to relax upon.
