At Johnson Lake all through the summer highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are usually in the 10's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Johnson Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.       A lake close by is Taflin Lake, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Bemidji is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. If you get bored of Johnson Lake, you could also stop at nearby Stony Lake, and camping at Clearwater County Long Lake Park is always a magnificent experience.
