Lake Elmo Regional Park Dam has delightful water scenery and it's in the vicinity of Lake Jane, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Wildwood Lodge Lake Elmo. A great site for whitewater paddling next to Lake Jane is Apple River; a tour to Mississippi National River & Recreation Area       is worthwhile. Lake Jane is a good place of common rain; most of the rain falls throughout June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Indian Hills Golf Club, and get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Vermilion River. What a place this is for outdoors people. Lake Jane is nice enough to spend more than a day at, St. Paul East RV Park is a nice local campground,                  and there's some flowing water close by, Raleigh Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here. There's so much to do here at Lake Jane that you need to camp here for a while, St Paul East KOA is a perfect place for that, and a lake close by is Lake De Montreville. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to come across some wonderful folks from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington here, and picturesque scenery and good skiing is what you obtain at Afton Alps. During the summertime, highs mostly are in the 80's at Lake Jane. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's.
