Sure, Pitcha Lake is in the vicinity. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Jackpot Lake; most of the rain falls throughout June, and February is the month with the least moisture. Camping at Rocky Shores Campground is always a good experience; Budget Host Motel Ely is a great site to get some rest. At Jackpot Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 70's.       Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 10's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Jackpot Lake temperatures descend to the-10's. A wonderful close by hotel is Super 8 Ely Minnesota; going for a hike along the Kelly Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. A perfect location                  to camp here at Jackpot Lake is Birch Lake Campground; if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Seven Beaver Snowmobile Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
