Paul Area is a great choice. Not far from Island Lake, you'll come across Mud Lake which is a beautiful lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Island Lake has to offer, you can camp at J Robinson Intensive Camps.
This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A good swamp in the neighborhood of Island Lake is Grass Lake, and an afternoon playing golf at North Oaks Golf Club is always a pleasure. The skiing at Hyland Ski is tremendous, and after a long day outdoors Hilton Garden Inn Shoreview is a brilliant place to spend a night or two.
