This lake is so wonderful. Near Island Lake you locate the Wilson Lake Trail which is a perfect hiking trail; if you need a site to stay Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids is a wonderful choice. Island Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Thistledew Campground is a delightful local campground,       and Island Lake is not the only place close by, Little Bass Lake is a close by lake. So much exciting stuff near Island Lake, definitely mind-blowing. Camping at Stony Brook Campground is always a wonderful experience. Island Lake is a good place of normal rain; June is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. On a fine day at Island Lake you can take a hike along the Valley River Trail; drift down the rapids of Big                  Fork in a kayak. During the summer highs here at Island Lake reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
