If the weather is tremendous here at Island Lake, you can go for a hike along the North Country Trail; after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Pine River is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff close to Island Lake will keep you coming back persistently. Lots of folks from Brainerd come to Island Lake; camping at Island Lake is pleasant fun, Highview Campgrounds is a pleasant local campground.       Island Lake is a good site of common rain; June is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Americinn - Pequot Lakes, Mn is a tremendous location to get some rest, and Loon Lake Tavern and Resort is a good campground here. Summer at Island Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's, and winter                  nights come with lows in the-10's to Island Lake.
