In Minnesota there are many beautiful lakes, Irons Pool is one of them. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on St. Croix River; going for a hike on the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail is always a good adventure. Camping is available at Paint Rock Spring Campground; you can go for a hike on the Markville Snowmobile Trail. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do in close proximity to Irons Pool. Lake Olive is a nearby lake that you could explore, and camping at Old Logging Trail Campground is always a nice experience. Throughout the summer at Irons Pool highs are mostly in the 80's.
