Inky Lake is a nice lake to visit. And if that's not enough there's lots more fun stuff to do in the Mesabi Range. Don't forget to take a great little trip to Hanson Creek, and if you need a spot to stay Budget Host Inn Grand Rapids is a magnificent choice. All through the summer months at Inky Lake highs are regularly in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 10's with winter lows

There is a glorious hiking trail in close proximity to Inky Lake called the Skeeter Lake Trail System, and dry warm beds await you at Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids. The annual precipitation here at Inky Lake is about average; most of the rain falls through July, and February is the month with the least moisture. more to do close to Inky Lake. Do take a look at Lower Hanson Lake in the vicinity of Inky Lake, it's a striking lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Mesabi Range.

We have hiking trails up through the woods and a playground for the little ones. The paved Central Lakes Trail goes right by us, so bring your bikes. Our paddleboats, kayaks and canoes are free to guests for on-the-water fun too. And for those quiet times we have benches placed around the resort to relax upon.
