Hyland Lake is always a pleasure to visit. High temperatures at Hyland Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's; the overnight is slightly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Hyland Lake. Crowne Plaza Hotel Minneapolis-Airport West is a delightful location to get some rest, and since you're here, you could stop at Eagle Creek. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Camping is available at Town & Country Campground, and the top of Mount Gilboa is easily seen from Hyland Lake. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Hyland Lake. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Fred Richards Golf Course, and you're most likely keen on lakes, Featherstone Lake is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. out nearby, and hey, Gotta ski right? Hyland Ski is a brilliant place to do that.
What would winter be without some skiing at Buck Hill, and Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is a splendid national park. From a rain
point of view Hyland Lake is a relatively typical site; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. A delightful place to camp here at Hyland Lake is Town and Country Campground; after
a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn & Suites Minneapolis-St Paul Airport is a fine place to spend a night or two.
