There are some fine whitewater spots on Big Fork, and not far from Horseshoe Lake you'll come across Mike Lake which is a striking lake. There are other places here than Horseshoe Lake, for example Pelton Lake, and a brilliant place to camp here at Horseshoe Lake is Spider Shores Resort. This lake is so wonderful. You are close to Sager Bay while you're here       at Horseshoe Lake; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Spur Lake Trail System. At Horseshoe Lake all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Horseshoe Lake are in the-20's. Horseshoe Lake is a good place of common precipitation; July is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month                  with the least moisture.
