That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Horseshoe Lake has it all. Near Horseshoe Lake you stumble on a golf course called Dahlgreen Golf Club, and camping at Jordan Koa Kampground is always a pleasant experience. Best Western Chaska River Inn & Suites is a glorious place to get       some rest; if you've had enough of Horseshoe Lake, Rapids Lake is nearby. A typical amount of rain falls here at Horseshoe Lake; June is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. You could also pop by Long Lake if you're here at Horseshoe Lake; it's nearby; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Hyland Ski if you're here. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Chaska is a good place                  to spend a night or two, and you can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Buck Hill. Swamps don’t sound that great but Johnson Slough next to Horseshoe Lake is rather great. During the summertime months, highs generally are in the 80's at Horseshoe Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's.
